XBOX puts an end to one of the biggest confusions of Game Pass with this new change

Microsoft continues to introduce small improvements to the Xbox user experience through the Xbox Insider program. Although it’s not a major update, it does incorporate a practical feature that will help manage the installed game library on the console more efficiently.

The new feature arrives with the latest version of Xbox Update Preview and is focused on one of the most used sections by players: My games and apps.

Game Pass games will display a new badge on Xbox

According to the official update notes for Xbox Insiders, users will start to see new badges that identify which games have been obtained through a subscription, such as Xbox Game Pass.

• These badges will appear on the manage installation page, for both the base game and its add-ons, allowing users to know at a glance if access to the title depends on an active subscription.
• This is a simple change, but especially useful for those with a large library, combining purchased games with titles included in Game Pass. Thanks to this indicator, it will be easier to distinguish which content will remain available if a subscription expires or a game leaves the catalog.

As is customary, this improvement is only available initially to Xbox Insider program members. If testing proceeds normally and no major issues are detected, Microsoft will incorporate it into a future update for all Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and Xbox One users.
