Xbox continues to shape its ecosystem with an increasingly defined idea: play where you want and how you want. The March 2026 update doesn’t introduce significant visible changes to the interface, but it leaves an important message about the direction of the platform.

Over the past few weeks, we’ve seen movements in this direction, something we’ve been discussing at Generación Xbox with the advancements of Project Helix and the bet on a more unified environment. Now, Microsoft reinforces it with new compatible games, more active features, and a catalog that continues to grow in all directions.

Xbox Reinforces Keyboard and Mouse, Play Anywhere, and Cloud Gaming

One of the highlights is the increase in titles compatible with keyboard and mouse on console, an option that’s gaining more presence. Among the added games, we find proposals like The Expanse: A Telltale Series, High On Life 2, Destroy All Humans! 2 – Reprobed, or Star Wars: Dark Forces Remaster, expanding alternatives for those seeking a more PC-like experience.

• In parallel, Xbox continues to drive Xbox Play Anywhere, one of its most interesting features. This option allows you to buy a game once and enjoy it on both Xbox and PC without additional cost, keeping progress and saved games. In this update, new titles like Reanimal, Showgunners, High On Life 2, or Dragon Quest VII Reimagined have been added, reinforcing a catalog that doesn’t stop growing.

Xbox Continues to Grow

Another important section is “Stream your own game”, which continues to expand its list of compatible titles. Thanks to this feature, you can play cloud games you already own without needing to install them. Among the new additions, we highlight Crimson Desert, GreedFall: The Dying World, Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection, OMORI, or WWE 2K26. Additionally, there are more games on the way, like Resident Evil 7 or Super Meat Boy 3D.

• Lastly, although in a more discreet manner, some titles optimized for portable devices have also been added, such as Crimson Desert or Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, which reinforces mobile gaming within the Xbox ecosystem.
