Since its announcement, Marvel’s Blade has become one of the most enigmatic games from Xbox Game Studios. Arkane Lyon continues to work on the return of Marvel’s famous vampire hunter, but since the presentation trailer, few new details have emerged. Now, Todd Howard has provided a brief but interesting update on the project.
During a recent intervention, the head of Bethesda was asked when we would see the game again. Although he couldn’t give a specific answer, he made it clear that development is continuing to advance and that what he’s seen recently has left him with very good feelings.
Todd Howard assures that Arkane is doing an excellent job with Marvel’s Blade
“I’m not authorized to say when,” Howard replied when asked about the game’s next appearance. However, he added that he had seen new material from the project on June 21 and that “the people at Arkane are doing a really, really great job.”
- The executive’s words don’t offer clues about a possible date for a new trailer or a more extensive presentation, but they do serve to confirm that development is moving forward and that Bethesda maintains confidence in the team responsible for Dishonored and Deathloop.
For now, Marvel’s Blade still doesn’t have an official release window. Nevertheless, Todd Howard’s statements should reassure those waiting for news about one of Arkane’s most promising projects and one of Xbox’s major bets for the coming years.
