We’re making our way through 2026, a year that promises to be one of the biggest and most intense in the gaming industry, with a slew of major releases lined up throughout the months. We’ve already seen some exciting launches recently, such as Marathon and Resident Evil: Requiem.
We’re also expecting a wave of new content for titles that have been on the market for a while, not to mention the possibility of some significant re-releases in the coming months. Dragonkin: The Banished is a prime example of this.
Dragonkin: The Banished on Xbox: A Closer Look
This title was announced some time ago and made its way to PC at the beginning of last year, launching in early access form. As a result, we didn’t expect a console version to arrive anytime soon, but that all changed with the trailer for its Xbox Series X/S release last month.
Dragonkin: The Banished is now available on current-gen consoles, and thanks to analysis videos posted on YouTube, we can see the optimization and performance in detail. At launch, the game has achieved better stability on Xbox Series S with a stable 1080p and 60 fps, while the Series X has a slightly less stable performance that doesn’t quite reach the desired level, although this can be improved with future patches.
Dragonkin: The Banished has just left early access and is starting its journey on more platforms, so we expect to see it updated over time. We’ll be keeping a close eye on its progress.
