Grand Theft Auto VI is once again surrounded by rumors, and this time they’re not just coming from the community. Over the past few days, several official movements have been made around the game, leading many players to believe that Rockstar is preparing to launch the big marketing campaign.
Between recent interviews, promotional emails, and mysterious ads related to Game Informer, more and more players believe that the highly anticipated Trailer 3 and pre-order opening could be much closer than they seemed.
The hints surrounding GTA 6 just keep growing
One of the details that has caught the most attention comes directly from Take-Two Interactive. Its CEO, Strauss Zelnick, recently commented that the marketing phase of GTA 6 is very close and hinted that we’ll soon learn more about the game’s price.
This is added to the movement detected on PlayStation, where Sony has already started sending promotional emails to users with GTA 6 on their wish list, encouraging them to buy a console before the expected November release.
But there’s more. The community is also closely following the next issue of Game Informer, whose new cover will be unveiled on May 12. Many believe it could be a special coverage related to GTA 6, something that would also coincide with possible pre-orders and the arrival of Trailer 3.
- Another detail fueling the theories is the meeting with Take-Two shareholders scheduled for May 21. Fans have recalled that both GTA V and Red Dead Redemption 2 received major promotional announcements just before this type of financial meetings.
For now, there is no official confirmation, and it’s best to remain cautious, but it’s clear that Rockstar, Take-Two, and Sony are already starting to move the machinery around GTA 6.
