Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 continues to expand its multiplayer and cooperative offerings with the arrival of Season 2, a free update that Activision is ready to deploy on PC and PlayStation and Xbox consoles, both current and previous generations. The new season will kick off on February 5th and will bring a number of exciting new features to refresh the experience over the coming weeks.
As rumors continue to circulate about a possible version for future platforms, the focus is on in-game content. Season 2 adds new maps, revives classic scenarios, and expands on several of the game’s most popular modes.
New Maps, Returns, and Season 2 Improvements
The season premiere is accompanied by three brand-new multiplayer maps: Sake, Nexus, and Torment, each with a unique design and focus on different playstyles. They are joined by the return of Slums, a classic Black Ops 2 map that returns with interactive elements and adjustments tailored to this release.
Looking ahead to the mid-season update, Activision has confirmed the arrival of the new map Torque, along with reimagined versions of Cliff Town, Grind, and Firing Range, all reinterpreted with the visual and gameplay identity of Black Ops 7.
The updates don’t stop at multiplayer. The Zombies mode receives the Mars map in its Survival variant, while Endgame expands its activities in an ever-evolving dimension. Additionally, Rebirth Island in Warzone gets a winter-themed update, and the arsenal expands with new weapons, abilities, accessories, and equipment, along with the introduction of a new operator.
