After surprising the community with a gift of 10 € in premium currency for all players, Embark Studios has released a new patch for ARC Raiders that addresses several issues that arose after the arrival of Cold Snap, the winter update for the extraction shooter.
The team has quickly responded to player feedback, adjusting some systems that had become unbalanced in recent weeks and fixing technical issues that affected the experience during expeditions on the new maps.
ARC Raiders adjusts blueprints, doors, and brings back an event
- According to the official changelog, the most significant adjustment affects the probability of obtaining blueprints. Before Cold Snap, these items were extremely rare, but after the winter update, the situation got out of control: some players found four or five blueprints in a single drop. Embark Studios has modified the spawn values again, reducing their frequency, although not returning to pre-winter levels.
Patch 1.7.2 also resolves issues with door opening, which in some cases didn’t work correctly due to minor connection issues. Additionally, a bug has been fixed where characters continued to suffer from cold effects, even when entering interior areas during missions in snowy environments.
Finally, the Hidden Bunker event has been reintroduced and is once again part of the game’s hourly rotation, expanding the options available during expeditions. Embark Studios continues to fine-tune ARC Raiders after Cold Snap, with constant adjustments based on the community’s real behavior.
