We’ve just reached the midpoint of December, and with that, we’re counting down the days to bid farewell to 2025, a year that’s been incredibly eventful in the video game industry, leaving us with incredible gems like Hollow Knight: Silksong and Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, a turn-based RPG with an absolutely stunning aspect that has taken the Game of the Year award for this year.

We’re no longer expecting any major releases before entering 2026, but this month will bring significant additions and updates to games that have been active in the market for a long time, with Diablo IV being one of the best examples.

Diablo IV now has its golden paladin

This title has been on the market for two years and since then, we’ve seen it receive major updates with a lot of new content, including its first expansion of the main story.

In April next year, “Lord of Hatred” will arrive, the second story expansion for Diablo IV, which will add a ton of important new features, although the most striking is the return of the paladin class, which is back in this new installment and can be played if you pre-purchase the expansion.

Diablo IV has had an intense year in terms of content seasons, and everything points to 2026 being even bigger for its odyssey of constant updates, something we’ll be keeping an eye on.
