Metroidvania games have something special that always manages to capture me. Perhaps it’s the mix of exploration, constant progress, and that nostalgic air that many of these games convey with their 2D style and unmistakable pixel-art aesthetic. It’s a type of experience that often feels very personal, almost like a journey that’s built little by little as we discover each corner of the map.
Among the projects that have caught my attention in recent times, there’s one that I’ve been following since the moment it first appeared. I’m talking about Mariachi Legends, a title that has sparked curiosity with its visual identity and the way it blends action, culture, and a world full of personality.

After a period without major news, the game has returned to the scene during the FGS with a new trailer that shows much more of its proposal. The preview shows agile combat, detailed scenarios, and animation that conveys a lot of character in every movement.
The feeling left by this new glimpse is clear: the project has ambition and a very marked style. Each scene in the trailer reinforces the idea that we’re dealing with a metroidvania that wants to stand out with its own identity, and from this house, we’ll continue sharing everything with you.
