The Xbox Games Showcase not only served to show new material from Gears of War: E-Day. Microsoft and The Coalition have also unveiled the Collector’s Edition of the game, a version designed for the franchise’s most loyal fans, which recovers some of the most important symbols of the saga and adds a large amount of physical and digital content.
Reservations are now open and, in addition to collectible items, include benefits for players, such as early access to the open multiplayer beta and several exclusive contents to use from launch.
Everything included in the Gears of War: E-Day Collector’s Edition (stock available again)
The new special edition brings together some of the most complete objects the saga has received to date. This is all the confirmed content and price, which is €299.99:
- 38cm collectible diorama with Marcus Fenix and Dominic Santiago (works with 3 AAA batteries, not included).
- 1:1 replica of Carlos Santiago’s COG tags, made of zinc and brass alloy.
- Exclusive SteelBook case with illustration created by Luke Preece.
- Collectible lithograph.
- Game-inspired photograph.
- Thank-you note from The Coalition team.
- Premium collector’s packaging.
- Physical game on disc for Xbox Series and Steam; includes digital code.
In the digital section, the edition adds:
- Upgrade to the Premium Edition.
- Up to 5 days of early access.
- Exclusive Bravo Squad weapon pack.
- 1,000 Iron, the game’s premium currency.
- Five seasonal customization packs, starting with the Emergence Pack.
Additionally, those who reserve this edition will receive additional rewards:
- Early access to the open beta from August 6 to 10, 2026.
- Dom Exfil character skin.

Microsoft has confirmed that the Collector’s Edition can now be reserved from the Xbox Shop, becoming one of the most comprehensive proposals the franchise has received since its creation.
Gears of War: E-Day will take us fourteen years before the events of the first game to live the Emergency Day alongside Marcus Fenix and Dominic Santiago. With a completely new campaign, multiplayer modes, and a renewed Horde experience, The Coalition is preparing one of the most important returns in Xbox history.
