LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight has officially enabled pre-loading on Xbox, allowing players to prepare for download before its release. The new title starring the Dark Knight will arrive this month and will also feature early access for those who purchase the special edition.
The download currently takes up around 45.16 GB on Xbox Series, making it clear that we’re in for a much more ambitious installment than previous LEGO DC games.
LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight Confirms Early Access on Xbox
Microsoft now allows pre-loading of the game from the Xbox Store, and we remind you of the two main release dates:
- May 19, 2026 — Early access with the Deluxe Edition
- May 22, 2026 — Standard official release
Everything points to this new installment featuring a much larger Gotham, multiple playable characters, and a darker atmosphere within the usual LEGO style.
Additionally, the download size also suggests a more comprehensive project in terms of technical and content aspects compared to previous LEGO superhero titles. With pre-loading now available, it seems that Warner Bros. and TT Games are preparing the ground for one of the most important releases of the month within the Xbox family and adventure catalog.
