Xbox is preparing something big: a Microsoft executive confirms that “great things” are coming to the console

Users of Xbox Insider have reasons to be highly attentive to the coming weeks. Brad Rossetti, head of the Xbox Insider program, has published a message that has quickly sparked speculation within the community by ensuring that the team is working on the necessary framework to introduce “great things” in future system updates.

Although the message does not reveal exactly what it is about, it does make it clear that Microsoft is finalizing important changes while continuing to distribute new preliminary versions for the Alpha and Alpha Skip-Ahead rings.

Microsoft asks for patience before showing its next novelties

In his post, Rossetti confirmed the deployment of new builds for users of the Alpha and Alpha Skip-Ahead channels and added the following message:

We are building the framework and fixes for some great stuff to come. Thanks for your patience.

These words have been enough for the community to start speculating about what Xbox is really preparing.

What could Xbox be preparing?

For now, there is no official confirmation about the functions to which Rossetti refers. However, over the past few months, various indications have appeared that point to significant changes within the Xbox ecosystem. Among the possibilities that users are discussing the most are:

• The long-awaited feature to link physical games with digital licenses.
• New improvements for the Xbox interface.
