The wait for the third trailer of Grand Theft Auto VI continues, but more and more indications point to Rockstar Games being very close to taking the next step in their promotional campaign. After the opening of reservations and numerous new features revealed in recent weeks, the next big moment for the game seems to be getting closer and closer.
Although Rockstar has not officially confirmed the date, several sources and the marketing calendar that the company usually follows point in the same direction: the second half of July would be the chosen time to show the expected third trailer.
The second half of July gains strength as the most likely date
With the release scheduled for November 19th, Rockstar needs to start a new phase of promotion in the coming weeks. A third trailer would allow for a deeper dive into aspects of the game that still remain largely unseen, such as secondary activities, the evolution of Jason and Lucia, new locations in Leonida, or the functioning of many of the mechanics seen so far.
Additionally, historically, the developer has intensified its communication strategy as the release of its major productions approaches, alternating trailers, new captures, interviews, and abundant promotional material during the months leading up to the release.
For that reason, the second half of July fits as the most logical window for the release of the GTA 6 trailer 3, starting a much more intense promotional phase that will likely continue throughout August, September, and October.
As always, it’s worth remembering that Rockstar Games has not officially announced the date of the third trailer, so this forecast should be taken as an estimate based on the current state of the campaign and the strategy the company has followed with previous releases. Even so, if the predictions come true, the wait could be much closer to ending than many imagine.
