Fans of one of the most successful role-playing game franchises in recent years have reason to be excited once again. Following several rumors and recent statements from one of the main actors in the saga, a new move by Warhorse Studios has reignited speculation about the future of the license.

A clue has emerged directly from the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), where the Czech studio has registered a new trademark that is already generating a lot of buzz within the community.

Warhorse registers Kingdom Come: Salvation and rumors skyrocket

According to records published by the EUIPO, Warhorse Studios submitted an application to register the Kingdom Come: Salvation trademark on July 23rd. The documentation describes the project as an “entertainment experience for computers and video game platforms“, a generic definition that does not reveal details about the content of the title, but confirms that it is a new video game related to the license.

The move comes shortly after the actor who plays Henry, the protagonist of the saga, hinted that Kingdom Come: Deliverance 3 might already be in the works. Although registering a trademark does not automatically confirm the development of a new game, it is often one of the first legal steps before an official announcement.

Additionally, Warhorse already confirmed a few months ago that one of its teams is working on a major immersive RPG, scheduled for release during the next fiscal year, which runs from April 2027 to March 2028. All of this aligns with the possibility that Kingdom Come: Salvation might be the final name for the next installment in the franchise or, at the very least, a new project set in the same universe.

For now, the studio has not made any official announcements, so it’s best to take this information with caution. Nevertheless, the trademark registration and the hints that have emerged over the past few months suggest that the future of Kingdom Come might be closer to being revealed than it seemed.
