November 2026 promises to be one of the most intense months in the video game industry. With GTA 6 set to dominate the spotlight, few companies dare to release their games on the same dates. But now, Atari has decided to take on the challenge by reviving a beloved license among monster fans.
The company has officially announced the return of Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee Remastered, a revamped version of the classic fighting game starring the King of the Monsters and some of the most iconic creatures from the kaiju universe.
Godzilla returns on November 3 with a remastered version
According to Atari, Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee Remastered will arrive on November 3, 2026. The game will retain the essence of the original, allowing players to control some of the most iconic monsters from the franchise in massive battles where the environments will also play a key role.
The game will continue to focus on destructive and action-packed battles, with a combat system designed for both veterans of the original game and new players discovering the series for the first time. The announcement was accompanied by a first trailer showcasing the return of several classic kaijus.
At Generación Xbox, there’s always room for unexpected comebacks. Although competing for the public’s attention in the same month as GTA 6 won’t be easy, the name of Godzilla still has a legion of fans, and this remaster could become one of the most intriguing surprises in the year-end release calendar.
