Yuke and Arc System Works have unveiled a new trailer for the upcoming game starring Billy and Jimmy Lee. The footage showcases many of the title’s features and also presents the collector’s edition.
The game’s story deviates from the urban crime atmosphere that characterized the series in the 80s and takes place 15 years after a nuclear war, where the territory’s inhabitants established different colonies in various points on the map. Of course, corruption and violence reign in this scheme, especially in the colony governed by the Shadow Warriors gang.
Fights only intensify
The Lee brothers, along with Marian, and armed with the spirit of Sosetsuken, will take to the streets to free the population from the yoke of oppression in the only way possible in these cases: with kicks, punches, and the occasional chain or improvised weapon.
If all goes according to plan, the game will arrive on Xbox Series X/S and PC on October 23 of this year and would be a new installment in the Double Dragon series, following the successful Gaiden: Rise of the Dragons from a few years ago.
