Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 has received an unexpected change that’s generating a lot of buzz within the Xbox community. After separating from the Call of Duty Hub, the game now features an independent achievement list, a novelty that’s causing some players to automatically unlock all the achievements they had already earned.

The update is already rolling out to users, and although the process isn’t immediate, everything suggests it’s an official change related to the new structure of the franchise.

A new achievement list for Black Ops 6

With this modification, Black Ops 6 is no longer dependent on the shared Call of Duty launcher and now functions as a standalone game within the Xbox ecosystem. As a result, a new achievement list has been created.

Players who had already completed part or all of the game can see those achievements unlock automatically for the second time, as long as their saved data and account are properly synced.

However, the process isn’t instantaneous. According to the first users who have received the update, syncing can take up to 30 minutes, so there’s no need to worry if the achievements don’t appear right away.

For now, Activision hasn’t made an official announcement explaining this change, although everything indicates it’s part of the reorganization of the Call of Duty app. For achievement hunters, the news represents an opportunity to complete the game again and boost their Gamerscore without having to repeat their progress, as long as the syncing works correctly.
