Xbox Game Pass continues to shape up some of the most powerful releases coming in the next few months, and one of the names generating the most hype is Stranger Than Heaven. The title has once again shown off new details focused on its combat system, making it clear that it will opt for much more technical and brutal confrontations than initially thought.
The new demonstration has served to get to know several of the game’s main mechanics better, including independent defense for each arm, quick counterattacks, and a weapon system that promises a lot of variety during fights.
Stranger Than Heaven Bets on More Aggressive and Tactical Combat
Among the most striking details shown by the studio is the possibility of controlling the left and right sides of the character independently during combat. For example, we can block attacks with one hand while quickly responding with punches or weapons using the other.
The system will also include charged attacks with timing, charges against enemies using both triggers, the possibility of knocking down opponents to hit them directly on the ground, and different melee weapons such as knives, hammers, mallets, or swords.
Additionally, the game will feature a blacksmith where we can craft and upgrade equipment to increase our survival options. Everything points to a very intense experience with a strong focus on physical combat.
For now, Stranger Than Heaven maintains its planned release for this winter and continues to shape up as one of the most promising additions that Xbox Game Pass will receive soon.
