Microsoft and Meta are expanding their collaboration with a new initiative that will facilitate access to Xbox Game Pass for millions of users. As of today, subscribers to Meta Horizon+ in compatible regions will receive a subscription to Xbox Game Pass Starter as part of their membership, adding a new way to discover the service’s catalog.

This novelty adds to the existing integration of Xbox Cloud Gaming on Meta Quest devices, reinforcing the commitment of both companies to offer more options for playing Xbox titles without the need for a console.

Meta Horizon+ now includes Xbox Game Pass Starter

Users who meet the requirements and have an active subscription to Meta Horizon+ will be able to access Xbox Game Pass Starter from today, a mode that includes access to over 50 games, 10 hours of cloud gaming per month, and the opportunity to earn Microsoft Rewards while playing. The available catalog features titles from various genres and studios, including:

Microsoft and Meta’s intention is to provide a gateway to the Xbox ecosystem for those who are not yet subscribers to Game Pass Ultimate or PC Game Pass, allowing them to enjoy a selection of games without needing to sign up for the more comprehensive plans.
