According to a Reddit user, after analyzing the release schedules and dates of previous Rockstar trailers since the GTA IV era, they’ve found certain patterns related to astronomical configurations.

The theory mentions planetary positions such as Pluto or Neptune, as well as specific alignments between the Sun and Mercury, attempting to find coincidences with important Rockstar marketing moments. After comparing over twenty promotional events, the user points to a specific date as the most likely for the supposed GTA 6 trailer 3:
