Now we know new details about the next big event from Xbox this summer. The highly anticipated Gears of War: E-Day will have its own Direct within the Xbox Games Showcase, and now we know it will have an approximate duration of 30 minutes.
This information comes at a time when the event is starting to take shape, with Xbox finalizing all the details of what we’ll see in one of the most important live events of the year.
Gears of War: E-Day will have 30 minutes dedicated to it in the event
It was Matt Booty who confirmed that the Direct dedicated to Gears of War: E-Day will offer a full 30 minutes of content, something especially relevant considering the secrecy surrounding The Coalition‘s project so far.
This means that players will be able to see the game in depth, with new details, scenes, and possibly gameplay that will help understand the focus of this new installment better. Additionally, before that Direct, the main Xbox Games Showcase will take place, where multiple games and news from the ecosystem will be presented.
According to Booty himself, the team has already reviewed all the trailers in internal meetings, which indicates that the event planning is practically closed. Everything points to this year’s Showcase arriving with a lot of content, and with Gears of War: E-Day as one of its main protagonists.
An event that promises to be one of the most followed of the year and will mark much of what we’ll see on Xbox in the coming months.
