Gears of War: E-Day shows Dom like never before in its new trailer

Just a few months away from the release of Gears of War: E-Day, Microsoft and The Coalition continue to build hype with a new video focused on one of the franchise’s most beloved characters. After recently confirming four-player co-op mode, it’s now Dominic Santiago‘s turn to take the spotlight in the studio’s latest trailer.

The video showcases Exfil Dom in action, a special appearance inspired by tactical infiltration units that will be available to those who purchase the game. In addition to a new design, the character is seen facing off against the Locust in several sequences that give a glimpse into the intensity of the combat.

The new appearance transforms Dom into a member of a special operations team, specializing in infiltration missions behind enemy lines. His equipment has a completely different look, with armor designed for this type of mission. Those who obtain this version will also receive additional content:

• Exfil Dom appearance.
• Exfil weapon pack, with a design inspired by the new armor.

The new trailer takes advantage of this theme to show Dom pursuing the Locust in several action-packed scenes, reinforcing the darker and more warlike tone of this prequel.

The multiplayer beta is just around the corner

• The trailer’s release coincides with the approaching multiplayer beta, which will take place from August 6th to 10th. During those days, players with an active Xbox Game Pass Ultimate or PC Game Pass subscription, as well as those who have pre-ordered the game, will be able to participate.

Gears of War: E-Day will arrive on October 6th for Xbox Series, PC, and Xbox Game Pass from day one.
