Starting today, a new game is added to the list of free titles that you can download and play without cost. It’s a proposal within the FPS genre that bets on something different from the usual, moving away from traditional action.
The most interesting thing is that this change is not temporary: the game becomes completely free, so you can add it and play it without limits from the first moment. Additionally, it arrives with simultaneous availability on several platforms, including Xbox.
Blindfire is free from today on Xbox, PC, and PlayStation 5
From today, May 5th at 7:00 PM in Spain (11:00 AM in Mexico City), Blindfire becomes free-to-play on:
The game stands out for its approach within the FPS genre, betting on combat in almost completely dark scenarios. Here, every shot can reveal your position, forcing you to play more strategically and carefully.
To compensate for the lack of visibility, the title introduces the Echo mechanic, a system that allows you to partially scan the environment to locate enemies and orient yourself within the map.
This combination of darkness, sound, and positioning creates more tense and different games than usual within the genre, especially in fast-paced player-versus-player encounters.
With its shift to the free model, Blindfire becomes an interesting option for those looking for something different without having to pay to try it.
