Forza Horizon 6 doesn’t just want to be the top driving game of the year, it also wants players to have more control over what happens in their world than ever before. Playground Games has presented all the new creative tools in detail, and the truth is that the leap from previous installments is quite notable.
From total customization of spaces to creating events in real-time with other players, everything points to this installment being the most open in this sense.
Forza Horizon 6 Bets on Total Player Creativity
The game’s new approach revolves around a clear idea: giving total freedom to create, modify, and share experiences within the world of Japan.
Among the main novelties, four pillars stand out:
- Customizable Garages
- The Estate (your own open space)
- Improved EventLab
- Horizon CoLab (cooperative creation)
All this adds to what’s already known about the saga, but with many more options for each player to make the game their own.
Customizable Garages: Create Your Own Space
Each house in the game will now include a fully customizable garage. You’ll be able to decorate it with objects, choose where to place your cars (up to four visible), and even define your character’s pose.
Additionally, you’ll be able to visit other players’ garages, download community-created designs, and explore them with a free-roaming camera. This opens the door to sharing creations and showcasing your car collection in a more personal way.
The Estate: Your World Within the World
One of the biggest novelties is The Estate, a much larger space where you can build almost anything you want.
From urban areas to circuits or complete environments, this place will function as a permanent blank canvas. You’ll also be able to visit other players’ spaces and download their creations, which greatly expands the possibilities.
EventLab Evolves with Many Improvements
The well-known event editor receives a significant update. Among the most notable changes:
- Quick placement of repeated objects
- Real-time testing mode while building
- Undo and redo options
- Event creation in any point on the map
- Free movement of the starting grid
- Improved automatic vehicle placement
The Super7-style challenges are also integrated into the system, allowing you to create and play anywhere on the Japan map.
Horizon CoLab: Real-Time Creation with Friends
For the first time, Forza Horizon 6 will allow you to create content with other players in real-time thanks to Horizon CoLab.
This means you’ll be able to design events, circuits, or playable areas with friends, adding a very interesting social component to the creative process.
Sharing and Discovering Community Content
Everything you create can be shared with other players, and the discovery system has been improved to make it easier to find new experiences.
- This ensures that the content doesn’t become static, but rather the game evolves constantly with new ideas created by the community.
With everything shown, it’s clear that Playground Games wants to go beyond driving and turn the game into a space where each player can create their own experience within the Horizon universe.
