Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero continues to expand its content and this summer will receive one of its largest updates to date. Bandai Namco has officially announced the new DLC Super Limit-Breaking NEO, a massive expansion that will add new fighters, stages, additional customization, and a brand-new single-player mode.
The update is directly aimed at classic fans of the Budokai Tenkaichi saga, bringing back beloved characters and debuting some fighters that have never appeared in this series before. All of this while the game continues to establish itself as one of the most popular anime fighting titles of the moment.
The new DLC for Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero adds over 30 characters
Bandai Namco has already confirmed part of the massive roster that will arrive with this expansion. Among the announced characters, we find both classic heroes and well-known villains from the Dragon Ball universe:

New stages, customization, and an unprecedented mode

This new single-player mode will allow players to develop and empower their favorite characters through progression and special enhancements, something that many players have been asking for to expand the offline content.
Bandai Namco has also taken the opportunity to confirm that new features will continue to arrive for other games in the franchise. Dragon Ball FighterZ and Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 will continue to receive updates, while during the Dragon Ball Battle Hours 2026 event, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3 was officially presented with its first trailer.
