We’ve officially entered 2026, a year that promises to be even more powerful in terms of video game releases, especially considering we’re close to the 25th anniversary of the Xbox brand, and Microsoft is preparing many surprises.
The list of confirmed games for the coming months is enormous, and we’re keeping an eye on big projects from giant companies as well as small titles that have managed to succeed thanks to players and the hype they generate, with Dinoblade being one of the best examples.
The Soulslike genre meets dinosaurs with Dinoblade
This game started as a joke from a designer on social media and ended up causing such a stir that it’s become a full-fledged project with its own page and official demo already available on Steam, aiming for a release sometime in 2026.
The developer of Dinoblade hasn’t dared to confirm the release date yet, but it seems the work is progressing slowly, and we already have a new gameplay trailer shared by IGN YouTube packed with action and sword-wielding dinosaurs.
There’s no doubt that Dinoblade looks really good, and we hope they don’t take too long to confirm the exact release date for 2026, something we’ll be keeping a close eye on.
