Microsoft continues to enhance its gaming ecosystem on PC and has just taken a significant step with the general release of Advanced Shader Delivery (ASD) to the Xbox app for PC. The Advanced Shader Delivery aims to avoid one of the most common issues in modern games: shader compilation during gameplay, which can cause longer wait times and minor stutters when loading new scenarios.

Thanks to this system, shaders can be downloaded and prepared in advance, reducing the work that the device must perform when we start the game. Microsoft has already provided a very striking example of its benefits. According to the data shared by the company, Forza Horizon 6 will offer load times up to 95% faster from day one, thanks to this technology.
