We’ve already passed the midpoint of this January, and with it, we’re getting closer to the next big releases that this year promises, being one of the busiest in recent years when it comes to major video games.
The list of confirmed games for the coming months is enormous, and we’re keeping an eye on big projects from giant companies like Sony and Bungie, and their upcoming release of Marathon, the new service-based title from the creators of Halo, which arrives in March.
The Marathon collector’s edition looks spectacular
This game was initially set to launch in September, but after seeing the community’s feedback and the state it was in, Bungie decided to delay it without giving a new release date, at least until December 2025, when it was confirmed that it would arrive without fail in a couple of months, and a few days ago we got the definitive release date, pointing to March 5th.
An open beta has been confirmed for Xbox, and we can already take a look at the collector’s edition of Marathon, which looks really good, with many details and additions, including a figure and a lot of conceptual art from the game.
- 1/6 scale thief statue with LED light
- Collectible silk worm miniature
- Thermal adhesive embroidered patch
- 6 art postcards
- Premium hexagonal packaging with lenticular poster
- Beautifully designed display box featuring environmental art
- Cosmetic in-game bonuses to purchase in the Bungie store:
– Zero Step emblem
– Zero Step background
Bungie seems to have gotten its act together, and Marathon is looking better since the tests from last year, so we’ll be keeping an eye out for any confirmed news ahead of its release in early March.
