The arrival of the new Battlefield installment has left us with a plethora of news, including the preview that my colleague Adrián had access to, which we told you all about here. The latest news talks about the inclusion of bots that the DICE team has planned for servers that don’t have a large player base.
This initiative was confirmed by the development team itself during an event in Hong Kong, as reported by one of the media outlets present.
The good news is that you’ll never play alone
Anna Narrevi, responsible for the game’s development, highlighted that the core design principle of DICE’s game is to allow the maximum number of players possible on each server so they can enjoy the experience simultaneously. However, if there aren’t many human players, the game will fill the gaps with bots.
On the other hand, the creative team also confirmed that DICE plans to release bi-weekly updates for the game and doesn’t rule out adding classic multiplayer maps based on fan requests. Initially, on October 10th, the game’s release date, the game will include Operation Firestorm, a map that appeared in Battlefield 3.
