August on Xbox Game Pass

Next month will start strong in Xbox Game Pass thanks to five confirmed releases from day one.

Although July still has many pending additions, Xbox Game Pass is already looking ahead to August. Microsoft has confirmed five games that will arrive directly at launch on the service, a selection that combines new licenses, action, survival, and the return of one of the most promising sagas of recent years.

As usual, this list could be expanded with new announcements over the next few weeks, but the first names already make it clear that August will be another exciting month for subscribers.

All confirmed games for Xbox Game Pass in August

These are the titles announced so far:

• Beast of Reincarnation (Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Cloud) — August 4th
• Monsters Are Coming! (Xbox Series X|S and Cloud) — August 6th
• Sandustry (PC Game Pass) — August 13th
• Grave Seasons (Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Cloud) — August 14th
• Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy (Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Cloud) — August 27th

Among them, the two main protagonists are Beast of Reincarnation, the new action RPG developed by Game Freak, the studio behind Pokémon, and Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy, the prequel to the acclaimed saga by Asobo Studio that will take us fifteen years before the events starring Amicia and Hugo.

The rest of the releases complete a varied catalog with proposals for all tastes. Monsters Are Coming! will offer a roguelite experience with survival mechanics, Sandustry will focus on exploration, building, and crafting on PC, while Grave Seasons will combine agricultural simulation, narrative, and mystery in one of the most attractive independent proposals of the month.

With almost all of July still ahead, Xbox Game Pass is already hinting that August will maintain the pace of releases from the first day. And, as usual, it wouldn’t be surprising if Microsoft announces new additions before the end of the current month.
