Xbox players have been waiting for months for news related to possible remasters of Fallout and, of course, the long development of The Elder Scrolls VI. However, the latest information shared by one of the most well-known insiders in the Xbox environment is not exactly what many wanted to hear.
According to recent comments by Jez Corden, it will still take a lot of time for the supposed return of Fallout and the new main chapter of The Elder Scrolls.
Rumors place the Fallout remaster in 2027 and Elder Scrolls VI even further away
The information comes from statements shared by Jez Corden, a journalist and habitual insider in the Xbox ecosystem, who claimed to have heard that the supposed Fallout remasters are “further away than people think“.
Additionally, he also commented that The Elder Scrolls VI would still be quite far from its release and that, according to what he has been able to hear, the game would not arrive before 2028 or even 2029 at the earliest.
Of course, it’s worth remembering that we’re only talking about rumors and unofficial comments. Bethesda has not currently confirmed any release dates related to possible Fallout remasters or the expected return of The Elder Scrolls.
Still, Jez Corden’s words have cooled down the expectations of many players who were hoping for some significant movement from Bethesda after the success of the Fallout series and the enormous growth the franchise has experienced over the past year.
In the case of The Elder Scrolls VI, it’s not particularly surprising that development is still far from complete. Bethesda continues to focus on expanding Starfield while working in parallel on the new RPG, a project that has been generating excitement for years, practically since the brief teaser shown in 2018. Everything points to the fact that there will still be a lot of patience required before officially returning to Tamriel or seeing the return of some of the classic Fallout games in remastered format.
