A new leak about GTA 6 puts the focus back on one of the game’s most important aspects: its open world. This time, the information comes from Reddit and points directly to a major leap in how NPCs will react within the game.
According to these reports, Rockstar has recorded over 35,000 additional lines of dialogue with more than 300 voice actors in recent sessions. The most interesting part is that this content won’t be focused on the main story, but on something much more ambitious: making the world react in a believable way to everything the player does.
GTA 6 would bet on much more alive and reactive NPCs
The leak details that these new recordings focus on several key systems in the game:
- NPC reactions when entering or leaving places
- Dynamic interactions with the environment
- Random events and side missions like “Strangers & Freaks”
- Daily behaviors with day and night cycles
- Social responses, even with systems inspired by social networks
Additionally, the sessions include branching dialogue structures with positive and negative responses, suggesting that characters won’t just react, but will do so in a contextual way depending on what’s happening.
Sounds and environments have also been recorded in real locations in Florida and Georgia, something common in Rockstar, but which reinforces the idea of an even more detailed world.
The recording sessions would have taken place between late 2025 and early 2026, even expanding content that had initially been cut.
As always, we’re talking about unconfirmed information, but it fits quite well with the direction expected from GTA 6. If all this comes true, the leap from previous installments could be huge in terms of life within the game.
