The data is even more impressive when compared to the historical record of Forza Horizon 5. The previous installment reached a peak of around 81,000 simultaneous players, a solid figure for a racing game, but one that is now completely eclipsed by the launch of the new installment.
Forza Horizon 6 multiplies Forza Horizon 5’s record on Steam
The difference between the two games clearly shows the enormous growth the franchise has experienced in recent years. Forza Horizon 6 has not only attracted the usual Xbox and PC fans, but also a large number of new players on Steam.
Part of this success also seems to be related to the strong impact of the game’s presentation campaign, the visual improvements, the new map, and the technical leap that Playground Games has achieved in this installment. Since its release, the game has consistently been among the most played and best-selling titles on Steam.
Additionally, the first opinions from players are being particularly positive in aspects such as performance, driving, and the huge amount of content available from day one. All of this has led to Forza Horizon 6 starting its commercial run with figures that already place it among the biggest recent launches on Xbox for PC.
