The success of Resident Evil Requiem has led Capcom to prepare new content for the game, and slowly but surely, hints about what the first DLC might include are starting to emerge. Although the Japanese company has not yet revealed official details, some leaks are beginning to fuel fan theories.
One of the most recent comes from Dusk Golem, a well-known insider who has a track record of revealing information about the Resident Evil series. According to his recent comments on social media, Ada Wong could return in the game’s first DLC, although her presence is not yet 100% confirmed.
Ada Wong might appear in the Resident Evil Requiem DLC, according to Dusk Golem
According to the information shared by the leaker, the additional content would be primarily focused on Leon, one of the game’s protagonists. However, Ada Wong (one of the franchise’s most popular characters) would also have a role in this narrative expansion.
Dusk Golem himself explains that the character’s presence is “very likely”, although he insists that it’s not yet officially confirmed by Capcom. For this reason, it’s best to take this information with caution until the Japanese company officially presents the DLC.
The insider also pointed out that in the past, he found references to Ada Wong and Jill Valentine in the game’s code, dating back to an early stage of development. At that time, Resident Evil Requiem was envisioned as a cooperative open-world experience, an approach that was ultimately discarded during development.
However, these references leave open the possibility that some of these characters might return in future content. For now, Capcom has not confirmed when the first DLC will be revealed, although all signs point to official details arriving in the coming months.
