Xbox Strengthens its Commitment to Developers at GDC 2026
During the fair, Xbox will host the Xbox Dev Summit for the first time, a series of sessions designed to prepare attendees for the next generation of experiences. The event will feature the participation of Xbox, Windows, and studios like Activision, Bethesda, Blizzard, and King, who will share practical lessons and perspectives on current development.
The opening of the Dev Summit will be led by Jason Ronald, Vice President of Next Gen, who will kick off a day focused on simplifying processes, accelerating launches, and leveraging new tools in the ecosystem.
The company has reiterated that its goal is clear: to enable developers to create and publish on any device, with greater freedom and fewer technical barriers. Xbox wants to reinforce its role as an open and flexible platform, offering services that facilitate creation and distribution.
