Terror is back to open the box. Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival has released a new trailer focused on its story, showing for the first time with greater clarity the narrative approach of the project and its setting within the iconic universe created by Clive Barker.
The title, developed by Boss Team Games and published by Saber Interactive, will arrive this year on PC and consoles, betting on a survival horror experience with a strong narrative load.
Hellraiser: Revival bets on an unprecedented story within the saga’s universe
Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival will feature a completely new story set in the Hellraiser universe. The player will control Aiden, who embarks on a desperate journey to rescue his girlfriend Sunny from the Cenobites, sadistic creatures that inhabit a dimension where pain and pleasure are intertwined.
Among them, the most iconic character in the saga returns, Pinhead, who again has the voice of Doug Bradley, the historic actor of the character in the film franchise. The new trailer, presented coinciding with Valentine’s Day, reinforces the dark and twisted tone of this “love story” marked by horror and obsession.
The game promises to combine exploration, survival, and confrontations in scenarios designed to transport the player to the most disturbing corners of the Hellraiser universe. For now, no specific release date has been detailed, but its release is scheduled for this year.
