The new remastering of the Yakuza saga is just around the corner, with a global release slated for February 12th this year, but before receiving the game, Sega will offer the chance to try it out briefly without having to pay a single penny (remember that you can also get your hands on some cosmetics without spending a dime), although there are no concrete dates for when this demo will arrive.
This edition will feature a remake of Yakuza 3 built entirely in the Dragon Engine and a new story starring Yoshitaka Mine, the antagonist of the title.
Classic stories with a new twist
The original story of the title remains intact, but new activities are added, such as the possibility of managing the Morning Glory orphanage and helping the children who live there. In another of his versatile facets, Kiryu will transform into Kazzy-chan at a ladies’ club run by the Haisai Girls motorcycle club.
On the side of Mine’s new story, the mysterious character will have to climb the ranks in the world of the arena and face various enemies to gain reputation and prestige, and thus get closer to the blood oath he made with his brother Tsuyoshi Kanda.
