The Life is Strange saga is showing signs of life again without warning. Even though there’s no official announcement from Square Enix, a new installment of the series has appeared in the PEGI database, indirectly confirming that the project is real and its release is taking shape.
The listing not only reveals the game’s existence but also its definitive title, as well as several narrative and content elements that give a clear idea of the focus of this new story within the franchise universe.
Life is Strange: Reunion brings back Max and Chloe with a darker story
According to the rating, the game is titled Life is Strange: Reunion and puts the focus back on Max Caulfield and Chloe Price, two of the most iconic characters in the saga. The description included by PEGI points to a plot marked by trauma, memories, and a constant countdown.
The story sets Chloe in Caledon University, haunted by nightmares and the loss that marked her relationship with Max. Meanwhile, Max is going through her own personal crisis while facing a limit scenario: a deadly catastrophe threatens to destroy the campus in just three days, forcing them to collaborate once again.
The PEGI file also notes the game’s adult tone.
