We’re now on the threshold of one of the most anticipated events on this year’s calendar. The Game Awards returns this week with its classic blend of awards, world premieres, and first looks at projects that will shape the next year. The community is already revving up and adjusting their schedules to follow it without missing a detail.

Although the event takes place in the United States, the follow-up from Spain and Latin America will be in the middle of the night. This year’s gala promises to be especially long, with a pre-show and a broadcast that will last around three and a half hours.

The Game Awards 2025: confirmed schedules by region

The ceremony will take place on Thursday, December 11, in the American territory, which means that in several countries it will be seen already in the early hours of December 12.

The broadcast will start with a pre-show that will serve to deliver several complementary awards before entering the main categories. If the estimated duration is maintained, the gala should end around 05:00 h in Spain.

Among the candidates for GOTY are very varied proposals such as Clair Obscure: Expedition 33, Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, Donkey Kong Bananza, Hades II, Hollow Knight: Silksong and Kingdom Come: Deliverance II. The decision will combine the vote of the international jury and the participation of the players.
