Xbox is preparing for Black Friday and all signs point to the same date

The big Xbox discount campaign for late November is about to kick in, but this year the date remains unconfirmed officially. However, references from previous years give us a fairly clear margin, and everything indicates that the promotion could start around November 21st, even before the official Black Friday on the 28th.

Initially, it seemed logical that the sale would start on November 14th, a habitual date in past seasons, but Xbox hasn’t made a move. That’s why the forecast changes: the week of the 21st is now the strongest candidate, with a rollout that will likely surpass hundreds of discounted games again.

The most reliable reference, as always, is in the history. And looking at the track record of the last five years, the window is almost identical:

• Black Friday 2024: November 15th – December 2nd

• Black Friday 2023: November 16th – November 30th

• Black Friday 2022: November 17th – November 30th

• Black Friday 2021: November 19th – December 2nd

• Black Friday 2020: November 20th – December 3rd

Following the pattern, everything points to the 2025 sale bringing another massive wave of discounts (over 800 discounts in 2024, and easily over 1000 games this year, including big-budget titles and complete collections.
