The viral phenomenon Dispatch is close to arriving on Xbox

The study formed by former Telltale developers confirms that it is studying taking the game to more platforms.

Few indie games have had such a rapid rise this year as Dispatch. In just two weeks, this cinematic-style adventure has surpassed one million copies sold, solidifying its position as one of the surprise releases of the fall. The project, created by former Telltale Games members, has received praise for its script, characters, and cast, led by Aaron Paul, known for his role in Breaking Bad.

In light of this success, the studio has confirmed that a version for Xbox is on the table. On their official Discord server, the developers stated that they are “studying additional platforms”, leaving the door open for a possible release on Xbox consoles in 2026.

The team has explained that their immediate priority is to continue improving the current versions for PC and PlayStation 5, although they do not rule out expanding soon.

In Dispatch, we control Robert Robertson, alias Mecha Man, a fallen superhero whose mechanical suit has been destroyed. Forced to accept a job at a superhero dispatch center, he will have to manage a group of ex-villains while trying to rebuild his life and reconstruct his suit.

The game combines humor, decision-making, and classic narrative style, evoking the best times of Telltale. Currently, it is available on PC (Steam) and PS5, and its arrival on Xbox seems increasingly likely.
