Good news for fans of science fiction role-playing games: The Outer Worlds 2 has already reached the Gold phase, which means that its main development has been completed and it’s ready for release on Xbox Series. The sequel from Obsidian Entertainment promises to take further the formula that conquered players with its first installment.
The team has confirmed that this new adventure maintains the same acidic humor and narrative style as the original, but expands the universe with new planets, more impactful decisions and a completely revamped combat system, with unique weapons and abilities that evolve based on your choices.
The Outer Worlds 2 arrives Day One on Xbox Game Pass on October 29
From its release, the game will be available Day One on Xbox Game Pass, on both console and PC, as well as cloud gaming. This means that subscribers to the service will be able to embark on this new space odyssey without additional cost.
Developed by Obsidian Entertainment, the studio also responsible for Avowed and Pentiment, this second installment aims to establish itself as one of the most complete first-person role-playing experiences within the Xbox Studios catalog.
