The universe needs a hero… and a good controller.
With that message, Xbox has announced the new official controllers of The Outer Worlds 2 through Xbox Design Lab, the service that allows you to design your own controller with unique color combinations, materials, and aesthetic details. This time, the inspiration comes directly from the acidic tone and black humor of Obsidian’s new RPG.

The official design features Don Lunatic, the game’s emblem, and the space fissures that threaten to devour the universe. Everything is reflected in a metalized top cover, engraved side panels, and a palette of dark tones with neon flashes that seem to be taken from Halcyon itself.
Personalize your The Outer Worlds 2 controller without limits
The new controllers can be created in two versions: the Xbox Wireless Controller standard and the Elite Series 2, the premium model with interchangeable parts. In both cases, players can modify the color layout, trigger texture, sticks, and directional pad, and even the tone of the illuminated Xbox button, an exclusive detail of the Elite.
The Xbox Accessories app also allows you to reconfigure buttons and profiles for each game, ideal for adjusting precision or creating customized combinations. It’s a way to unite the aesthetics of The Outer Worlds 2 with an experience completely adapted to each player.
Compatible with Xbox Series, PC, and mobile devices, the controller can be ordered directly from Xbox Design Lab, where each piece can be transformed into an extension of Obsidian’s universe.
