We’re moving forward and have already reached the middle of September, marking the beginning of the final stretch of the year when companies will rush to launch their major projects before entering 2026.
In addition to the big games scheduled for this year, we also welcome some smaller, lesser-known projects with smaller budgets, although the big hitters of the year will take a significant chunk of the pie in the coming months, with Battlefield 6 being one of the prime examples.
Battlefield 6 Arrives on Xbox Series X/S Consoles
Following the flops of the previous installments, DICE promises to finally launch a worthy entry in the franchise, without the issues that have plagued it, emphasizing that versions like the Xbox Series S have been a significant challenge.
After all this, the confirmed modes for Battlefield 6 on both Xbox and PS5 consoles have been revealed, with the Xbox Series X having two modes, while the Series S is limited to a single mode to maintain 60 fps at all times.
• PS5: 1440p/60FPS or 1280p/80+FPS
• PS5 Pro: 4K/60FPS or 1620p/80+FPS
• Xbox Series X: 1440p/60FPS or 1280p/80+FPS
• Xbox Series S: 1080p/60FPS
Battlefield 6 is one of the most promising games of the year, and everything points to its final version being a worthy rival to the annual Call of Duty release in 2025, so we’ll be keeping a close eye on it ahead of its launch on October 10th.
