The information came to light after being detected by the Reddit community dedicated to the new Xbox portable, where a new technical video focused on its Zero Gravity Cooling system was found. And what it shows is that this model won’t only be more powerful, but also promises to be quieter and maintain lower temperatures, even during intense use.
How the advanced cooling of the ROG Xbox Ally works
The new model incorporates a completely improved thermal design, designed to work efficiently regardless of how you hold the device. This is what ASUS has detailed:
-
It uses anti-gravity heat pipes that can dissipate heat even if the device is upside down.
-
It features larger fans that move 15% more air compared to the ROG Ally X.
-
A third air outlet has been added, as well as dust filters on the inlets to reduce noise and keep the system clean.
-
The touchscreen stays cooler, improving the experience of prolonged gaming.
-
The heat sink has also been redesigned, optimizing the internal thermal flow.
What advantages does the Zero Gravity system of the Xbox Ally offer in long sessions?
Beyond the technical details, what’s really interesting is what this means for the player: less heat in the hands, less noise, and more stable performance even after several hours of use. With a thermal system like this, the ROG Xbox Ally not only promises to stay cool in any position, but also avoid performance drops or thermal discomfort during long gaming sessions, something key in a portable device that aspires to be a serious alternative for playing anywhere.
