The legendary creator Yu Suzuki and publisher ININ Games have announced Shenmue III Enhanced, an enhanced version of the title originally released in 2019. This edition aims to be the definitive way to relive the story of Ryo Hazuki, with technical improvements, gameplay adjustments, and new options designed for both veterans and players discovering the saga for the first time.

The big news for Xbox fans is that, in addition to coming to PC and PS5, the Enhanced edition will mark the debut of Shenmue III on Xbox Series, allowing players to enjoy this installment for the first time on Microsoft consoles. A version for Nintendo Switch has also been mentioned, although it remains in the confirmation phase for now.
