The studio has announced on Steam that their game will stop being free at the end of August:

• At the end of August, the game will go from being free to paid. Those who have added it to their Steam library will still have access to their copy and won’t have to pay anything. I’m doing this because the plan was to add microtransactions to the mobile version, but it’s no longer possible. Steam users don’t like microtransactions, but they do like buying games, especially during sales.

Hardest is a turn-based strategic card game where each match is decided in quick three-point battles. The player can stop time, launch tsunamis, shoot bubble guns, or manipulate cards with unpredictable effects, including rare negative cards that can change the course of the match.

Its proposal combines deck-building, turn-based tactics, and risk-reward mechanics, with a minimalist visual style and short but intense matches. Simply drag cards onto the board to execute them or keep them in hand to read their effects before deciding.
