The Xbox Game Library is receiving a small but useful update for some users in the testing program. Microsoft has added a new tab called “Free with Xbox”, which brings together in one place all the demo and trial games available for your account.

Until now, this type of content was mixed with purchased games or included in services like Game Pass, which could make it difficult to locate. With this new section, demos, betas, and free trials will be organized and visible independently, allowing players to quickly discover what they can download and try without additional cost.
A improvement that streamlines the experience
The “Free with Xbox” tab is located next to the Xbox Game Pass, EA Play, Games with Gold, and Owned Games categories within the Library. From there, you can access titles of all kinds, from multiplayer betas to demos of recent releases, without needing to perform manual searches.
For now, the feature is only available to a small group of users, but it’s likely that Microsoft will extend it to all profiles in a future system update. This change not only improves the organization of the library but also encourages players to try more games before buying them.
