A new leak puts the focus back on GTA 6, this time related to its duration. According to a well-known insider, the main campaign of the game would have an estimated duration of 75 hours, a figure that would place it as the most extensive project in the entire saga to date. Although Rockstar has not confirmed this information, the published details coincide with the narrative structure by chapters that had already been hinted at in previous leaks.
The source claims that the game will be divided into a prologue and five main chapters, each with a considerable average duration. Everything points to GTA 6 betting on an extensive and deep narrative progression, in line with the huge open world that Rockstar is building.
This is how the duration structure would be according to the GTA 6 leak
The shared breakdown would be as follows:
-
Prologue: 2 hours
-
Chapter 1: 6 hours
-
Chapter 2: 13 hours
-
Chapter 3: 16 hours
-
Chapter 4: 22 hours
-
Chapter 5: 16 hours
In total, 75 hours just for the main story, not counting secondary activities, free exploration, or additional content, which could raise the total figure well above 100 hours. As always, we recommend taking this information with caution until Rockstar speaks officially. Even so, everything indicates that the studio wants to take the experience beyond what was seen in GTA V.
This same week, information was also leaked about the supposed three editions that GTA 6 would have at launch, information that for now should be taken with caution, but you can review it for yourselves.
