Xbox premieres trailer to celebrate the arrival of Black Myth: Wukong to Xbox Series

Microsoft has published a new trailer to announce the arrival of Black Myth: Wukong on Xbox Series on August 20, 2025, just one year after its debut on PS5 and PC. The new version will be fully optimized for the current generation and will offer an optimized experience for those who were waiting to play it with maximum performance.

Since its original release in August 2024, the game has established itself as one of the most visually impressive soulslike games, thanks to its use of Unreal Engine 5 and its fidelity to the mythology of Journey to the West. With this new release, the arrival of the title to the most demanding graphics modes and all the features of Xbox Series is also confirmed.

New Black Myth: Wukong Trailer

• In the new official trailer shared by Xbox, gameplay scenes are shown with full support for technologies such as Lumen, Nanite and ray tracing. The Xbox Series version will include two graphics modes: one in 4K at 30 FPS with ray tracing, and another in 1440p at 60 FPS, with greatly reduced loading times.
• This version also provides access to the Gauntlet mode, which allows replaying bosses with specific conditions, a system of customizable spells and mythical transformations inspired by Chinese legends. The combat, choreographed by martial arts experts like Yin Kai, is one of the most acclaimed aspects of the title.
